Beginning with our youngest teams we compete against other Academy teams from clubs in North Alabama. This gives our players and their families a chance to get involved with Shoals Soccer Club in order to learn and make sure this is the right path for the player.
Academy
Competitive Youth
SSC teams, beginning at U12, compete in the Alabama Soccer Association State League which begins in August. Then it culminates the first weekend of November at the Alabama State Cup finals. Winners at State Cup are eligible to compete in the United States Youth Soccer Regional President’s Cup held annually in June.
Soccer is a great sport for adults to continue playing well into their senior years. There is no reason to not continue playing soccer after your youth soccer days are over. SSC partners with the local soccer community to help facilitate soccer for all ages.
Adult Soccer
Our winter indoor futsal allows our current players as well as the broader community a chance to continue their soccer journey during the winter months. Futsal is designed to allow players to improve their decision making skills in smaller spaces, affords them more touches on the ball, as well as improving their individual soccer skills.
